Surfing in Nicaragua
Nicaragua surfing offers Solid south swells and some of the best point breaks, rock reefs and beach breaks along the coast of Nicaragua. Nicaragua’s coats line can be segmented into three different surfing areas Southern, Central and Northern Pacific Coast. Surfing in Nicaragua has concentrated in the Southern Pacific Coast, while the Central and Northern Coast are almost unexplored.
Since our explorations to Nicaragua, taking advantage on our surfing experience and following the Baja Surf Adventures Philosophy to take surfers to the more remote surfing destinations, we offer Surf Trips to all surfing areas Southern, Central and Northern Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, here you will find all kind of surf breaks ranging from fun, classic point breaks to hollow, A-frame beach breaks or ruler-edged, tubing, inner rock reefs. There are surf breaks which work on all tides, high, mid and low.
We offer access to the best spots it does't matter if we have to go by 4x4 or boat.
The long surf season in Nicaragua spans nine months from March to November. Nicaragua typically enjoys over 330 days a year of offshore winds that provide great surfing waves. The offshore winds groom the swells into clean hollow lines and perfect shaped barrels daily.
