El Salvador offers one of the most consistent surfing environments in the world. There are more than a dozen world class right hand point breaks. What make surfing unique in El Salvador are the waves: they can break 100 - 200 yards or more without closing out. Imagine having the same swell window as places such as Rincon, Hammonds, and Puerto Escondido for 300 days out of the year, 82-degree water, and no crowds! El Salvador ’s coastline is divided into two distinct surf zones: the West Cost and the East Coast.

The West Coast encompasses about a dozen different high quality breaks beginning at the coastal town of La Libertad (only half an hour from the airport). It contains El Salvador’s most popular surfing spots such as Punta Roca with its powerful and hollow waves.

The East Coast is more rustic and less frequented than the West Coast. Located three hours southeastward down the coast, it offers some of the most hardcore breaks and is a welcome change from the typical crowded beach and is perfect for those looking for a more uncommon surfing experience. We offer access to both coasts so that you can get a feel for the different beaches.

On the West Coast our resort is located on El Sunzal beach where you can surf the longest waves in El Salvador. This location offers easy access to some of the best surfing spots in the country, all of them 15-20 minutes away.

On the East Coast we have a converted house located exactly in front of Las Flores Point and offer boat service to other locations such as Punta Mango.

Only 4 ½ hours from Los Angeles, El Salvador is easily reached by direct flights daily.

East Coast

Our East Coast resort is just couple steps to Punta Flores. This resort has double, triple, and quadruple rooms each rooms has private bath and A/ C. The hotel has pool, security, and restaurant service where clients can taste the Salvadorian cuisine and exquisite seafood specialties. The best thing about the place is the location; it’s just couple steps of the waves. This is special for people that come from big cities and want stay right on the beach by the waves and nature.

West Coast

The West Coast resort is located in front of the wave at Punta Cocal. The resort has seven rooms. These rooms are three big suites that can accommodate up four people, two medium suites to accommodate two people and two single rooms to accommodate single travelers or couples. Each room is equipped with A/ C, DTV and a private bath w/ hot water. This resort has restaurant service where clients can have exquisite specialties and great deals of seafood, meat, soups, desserts, drinks, etc.

At the end of the surfing sessions you can just relax, kickback and feel like home with a nice panoramic view of the ocean from the hammocks area.

**Our hotels are by surfers managed which tell you that we know what the surfer traveler needs are.

Meal Notes:

At East Coast will be provided Continental Breakfast (Cereal + coffee + juice + toasts + fruits) and Dinner (Fresh seafood, Chicken, Meat or pasta + a non alcoholic beverage). Continental breakfast is served from 5:00am to 10:00am & Dinner is served at 6:30pm.

At West Coast will be provided Breakfast (Coffee + juice + Selection of typical Salvadorian breakfast, pancakes or omelettes) and Dinner (Fresh seafood, Chicken, Pasta + entree: seafood cocktail or soup + a non alcoholic beverage). Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 11:00am & Dinner is served from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Water: We provide a cooler in each vehicle with two litters of drinkable water per person a day. More water upon request is available for an additional fee.

**Other items such as sodas, powerades, smoothies, and alcoholic beverages are available upon request for an additional fee.

Amenities:

In our personalized service system we offer you all the transfer needs of daily trips to other beaches and optional tours like: Mayan ruins, volcanoes trips, lakes, city tours. If you are interested in nightlife at East Coast we take you to San Miguel city (30 min dive from the resort) and at West Coast to San Salvador city (25 min drive from the resort), you will find a pleasant night life!

Internet access: We have Wireless Internet connection in both areas; at west coast you can use our laptop, for west coast please bring your own laptop.

Communication with family, love ones or business never will be a problem during your stay since we provide a cell phone for each group with 100 min. to call to USA or Canada and with no limits of incoming calls, and also when your credit run out you’ll have chance to get extra credit by phone cards.

Photos of your Salvadorian experience can be captured by a professional surf photographer and burned to a CD for your convenience (addition fee). Inquire about this extra fee when you are booking your trip.

What to Bring:

BEGINNERS  

The Beginners season is open during 5 months a year this is during the dry season (November to March); in those months El Salvador coast line takes the smallest swells (2- 5 ft) of the year and is perfect for beginners or intermediate surfers who want improve their surfing skills. We have an experienced surfing instructor’s team that will help you learn to how catch the best waves.

The surf school usually is held at the lovely beach in front of the hotel. But the surf school is also completely mobile, meaning that lessons can be held at the most suitable beginner wave up or down the coast, depending on daily weather conditions.

Depending on your level of surfing, the surf instructors will guide you and help you to improve your surfing skills. In our surf school program students learn about ocean awareness, priority rules, paddling, and wave riding. Also learn how waves and swells are created, tide changes and conditions, seasons, and other basic information.

We guarantee that after one week of surf school the complete beginner will be able to surf.  

Our surfing lessons program is imparted in a personalized system, one surfing instructor coaching each four students as a maximum that hold us give you the best service and help to improve your surfing skills.

Our instructors are very well experienced with more than five years teaching and over fifteen years practicing the sport.

Surf curses Schedule

• 08:30 At the meeting point (Hotel )
• 08:40 We go looking for the best waves according to your level. Could be in front the hotel
• 09:00 Lesson starts at the beach! Warm up, Stretching, easy exercises, theory, practice on the sand... in the water!!!!
• 11:00 - 14:00 Lunch & break
• 14:00 Warm up…and in the water!!! Surfing under supervision and error correction from our instructors.
• 16:00 Back to Hotel, is up to you stay more time in the water to improve your skills
• 19:00 Dinner, San Salvador night city tour (optional) 

**Otherwise if students wish can receive the lessons in a session only from 7:00 to 11:00 and have more time in the afternoon to visit nice places in the country such as Mayan temples, Lakes or hiking volcanoes (these activities and city tours are included in our packages)
