Surf in Surf Tour/ Northern, NICARAGUA
Accommodations
The Accommodation we offer in the Surf Tours is located in the rural fishing village of Jiquilillo. The property is located at the entrance to town and extends from the main road to the beach, providing off road parking and instant beach access.
We offer twoSide-by-side beach houses. The houses are:
- 1 Bedroom Casita, includes: 1 Queen size bed+1 convertible bed, 1 bathroom, porch and kitchen
- 2 Bedroom Casita, includes: 1 Double bed+2 twin beds, 1 bathroom, porch, and kitchen
Extra beds can be accommodated in both houses.
Both casitas can accommodate up to 6 adults in total comfort. The only limitation we have in this region is electricity problems during the rainy season, and this is why we don’t have AC, instead of we provide fan and mosquito nets on top of the bed, but don’t forget we are in a Surf Tour in a remote region and what really matter are good waves, a comfortable bed, great meals and the local knowledge to score good surf.
Meals
Our talented local chef will provide both Nicaraguan and North American cuisine. Some of the meals provided are lobster, shrimp, fish, hamburgers, french toast, and many others. We also serve a variety of fruit and fresh made juice from our garden.
We deserve three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner and a non alcoholic drink.
We recommend you to buy plenty of water and power drinks in the grocery store in Chinandega to stock the refrigerator at the surf house.
Entertainment
We are packed of options for entertainment offering activities such as kayaking, horse back riding, estuary tow surfing, beach volleyball, and others. But is what you want is to have some mellow entertainment we recommend you to bring your Ipod player, books and magazines.
Communication
The guide is equipped with Cell phone, so you can buy minutes to call to USA or Canada, we also provide a mobil internet device to plug in your laptop (sometimes internet speed is very slow due the remoteness) we do runs to Chinandega once a week so you can come with us to go to an internet café.
