The Emerald 9 Is Now Open!
The first nine holes of the magnificent Golf Club are now ready for play. The San Diego River, the ocean, ponds and the natural land features make The Emerald 9 course an unforgettable golf experience. The course can be played as 13 different holes during an 18-hole round of golf, using different tees and alternate fairways on the first two and last two holes.
The Emerald 9 course features the Diablo tees 7133 yards; the Maestro tees 6883 yards; the Hombre tees 6494 yards; the Rosa (forward tees) 5358 yards; each a par 74. A complete game improvement facility with practice greens, bunkers, short game area and range is available to sharpen your golf skills. The adjacent clubhouse offers a fully stocked pro shop, club and cart rentals combined with a restaurant and bar. Everything you need to guarantee the perfect golf experience.
Two more 9-hole courses, the Ruby 9 and The Sapphire 9, are currently under construction. We’ll keep our guests informed on the progress so you’ll know when they’re available for play.

Horseback Riding
Now you can explore the beautiful beach and grounds at Comunidad San Diego on horseback! We have several paths to choose from, offering beach or mountain views. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced equestrian, we can match you with a horse for a fun and enjoyable ride. This is a great activity the whole family can enjoy together. Each trail ride is guided. Please contact us in advance to check availability and times.

Snorkeling
Be sure to bring your snorkel gear! The natural features of Las Perlas beach create a protected tidal pool that offers an amazing glimpse of the undersea world. Your best opportunities for snorkeling here are the hours around low tide.
The tide pool is also a great place for swimmers. With a sandy bottom that tapers very gradually and no undertow, it’s a great place for sunbathing and swimming. At low tide, the shallow water near shore is perfect for small children to paddle and play.
Sea Mist Spa
What could be more relaxing than lying in a private beautiful open air palapa, listening to the waves on the beach while you receive a full-body, Swedish massage?
The Sea Mist Spa is now offering massages in its new, beach-front location. The long strokes and kneading of a Swedish massage relieve tired muscles and enhance circulation and skin tone as all your tension and stress slip away.
A full body massage lasts approximately 50 minutes, for $40.00 US. If you’re in a hurry to get back to your golf clubs, surfboard or other activities, a back, neck and shoulders massage lasts 25-30 minutes for $25.00 US. Indulge yourself with extreme pampering at the Sea Mist Spa!
