Do I need a passport for your baja surf trips?

YES - you are required to present a passport or a birth certificate AND a valid drivers license at the Mexico border to get back into the US. Contact Bill if you have questions.

Do you have a bar?

We have more than a bar - we have our famous full service Outdoor Cantina in the sand courtyard that serves Mexican beer, International wine and various mixed drinks .

Do you have vegetarian meals?

YES. Please inform our representative while you are booking your trip.

Do you rent surfboards for training and how much?

YES. We charge $20 per day, per board.

Do you supply drinking water?

We have plenty available at all times.

Do you supply wetsuits?

We have a very limited selection. Please bring a wetsuit in case we do not have your size.

How far is the closest town?

20 minute drive. We go there 3 times a week.

How long of a drive is it from the San Diego airport?

It takes approx. 4 hours to reach our resort from the San Diego airport and two hours south of Ensenada.

How many people are needed to book a trip?

Three minimum. Please contact the office to see if we have open spots available for single, double and group availability.

How warm is the water?

In the summer through fall it ranges from 65° - 69° and in the winter through spring it ranges from 59° - 63°.

How's the fishing?

During the spring through the fall the fishing is very good. We can arrange for a panga boat day trip for an additional $185.00 for up to 4 people to a boat. (Lunch is included) Sea bass, rock cod, tuna, etc... Bring your own tackle and rods - it's worth it! For a 5 star fishing trip, talk to our representative when you call.

Is there any pollution in the water?

NO! We are remote and there's no runoff.

Is there TV?

YES! We have a Direct-T.V. set up for sports as well as wireless internet access available in or full-service cantina, so bring your laptop! (We do not supply laptops, sorry)

What kind of food is provided?

Fresh fish, steaks, tri tip, chicken, pork loins, etc... Crab, rice and beans, vegetables, fruits, smoothies, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, ham, bacon, FRESH torts, orange juice, mike ,etc... Most evening meals are cooked on the bbq in the courtyard while you enjoy a fire and our Outdoor Cantina

What's the air temp like there?

Summer air temps range from 75°-85° during the day and 60°-68° during the night. Fall air temps range from 72°-75° during the day and 54°-60° during the night. Winter air temps range from 65°-70° during the day and 42°-50° during the night. Spring air temps range from 72°-75° during the day and 50°-60° during the night.

What's the average wave height?

Winter wave heights average at 4-8ft, spring wave heights average 3-6ft, summer wave heights average 3-5ft and fall wave heights average 4-6ft.
