Surfing:
The northern coast of Peru is home to the most consistent surf in South America, year round. Is the land of Lefts. With a coastline of more than 1000 you are sure to find the wave of your dreams. Peru is full of grade A waves, some very long and powerful and others fun mellow waves.
Surf Season:
March- November: is the best time to come you have medium, big and huge south, southwest swells coming from the antartic ocean.
December – february: small and medium swells ocasionaly comes a big swell most of the time from the south, but sometimes we get the north swells with very good waves
The Surf:
Pasamayo: optional A frame sand bottom wave with most right handers than lefts
Punta ceviche: Long good left
Centinela: very good long wave
Atahuampa: its a very good wave with two sections one for Experts and one for begginers
El Farayon: Very good, big and powerful left barrel Orly breaks with big swells
Bermejo: Very good and long left barrel. Sand bottom is about 250 km north of Lima
Playa Grande: big and powerful left barrel rock bottom. 350 km north of Lima
Chicama: The longest wave in the World. 2km ride, left Sandy bottom. 650 km north of Lima
Puemape: Short rock reef bottom
Pacasmayo: The second longest wavw in the World 1.5 km ride part rock and sand bottom .700 km north of Lima.
