The Castillo de Pavones is a brand new hotel, elegantly perched on a mountainside with a direct view of the famous Pavones point break, and the surfers riding the longest left wave in the world. From the windows and balconies, you can look down on the canopy which slopes to form the Rio Claro River and valley, and witness the birds soaring below over the canopy treetop.

A five-minute walk down the hill brings you to the ocean, river, and directly in front of the beginning of the famous point break wave. A ten-minute walk brings you to the centre of town. We can book your boat trip to Matapalo for surfing, fishing, snorkelling or scuba diving. Horseback riding, private guided hikes and canopy tours can also be arranged through the Castillo. Pavones can also book your organic spa treatments at the nearby salon.
